Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training

15-90Hours

Are you considering taking Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training? There are so many trainings out there, it can be difficult to find the one that's right for you. Here is what sets my training apart from the rest.

I have over 13 years of experience teaching prenatal and postpartum yoga and about 200 hours of Prenatal/Postpartum training. It is my passion. I bring a matriarchal approach to my prenatal and postpartum classes as well as my training program.  This means that the priority is the collective.  Everyone is embraced however they show up.

My prenatal training is so much more than yoga modified for pregnancy.  It is yoga designed for pregnancy.  Everything we do in class has a prenatal purpose.

You will learn:

  • Anatomy of the whole body and how it is impacted by pregnancy.

  • How specific movements and yoga poses can impact the position of the baby in the womb.

  • How to design yoga for pregnancy and postpartum

  • Various techniques to help your students build endurance and calm their nervous system.

  • The history of birth

  • Trauma-informed yoga for pregnancy and postpartum

  • So much more!

The landscape of birth in this country is broken and it is imperative to discuss this in a yoga teacher training.  I’m not training you to be a birth worker but a birth warrior! The United States has a lot of room to grow in how it cares for all  Birth Givers, especially those in marginalized communities. While we can’t change the whole system in one day, we can play an important role in helping birth-givers have better outcomes.  We can do this by helping our students prepare their bodies for birth, reminding them of their inherent power.

Finally, anyone who takes my classes and who trains with me is part of my village forever. I am always available to answer questions that might come up, offer advice and help navigate challenging situations.

Are you ready to take this journey with me? Keep scrolling to learn more! I hope you will join me.

I am happy to answer any questions you have.  You can reach me at yesyoga@yesyogalove.com.
