About

a wise woman once told me…

While you are pregnant, there are all these people helping you up the hill. Once you have the baby, you’re left at the top of the hill with no one to help you back down.

These words never left me. When I had my oldest son, I was excited but nervous about becoming a Mother and experiencing such a big change in my life. The oldest of 5, I grew up around babies. I felt very confident about changing diapers, feeding my baby, and taking care of him. I thought I was prepared. I soon learned that nothing truly prepares you for parenthood. While I had plenty of experience rocking my younger siblings to sleep at night, I didn’t know what it would mean to be a Mother.

Being the only one in my friend group to have a baby, I felt isolated and alone. While I loved being a Mom, I felt lonely, anxious, and as if I was slowly disappearing.

What saved me was finding my village and I found it in Baby and Me Yoga. To this day, I am still in touch with the parents I met through baby and me yoga. We’ve laughed and cried together, chased after toddlers, and seen our families grow,.

Baby and Me Yoga is a space where you and your baby are embraced no matter how you show up. Where babies can be babies. Where you can connect more deeply with your baby and meet other new parents and where you can find strength and healing for your postpartum body. I hope you can join us.
